The seminar, organized by the CaribErasmus project with the support of the European Commission and the Ministry of Education of Haiti, gathered some 30 participants with the objective of promoting academic cooperation between Europe and Haiti by promoting mobility opportunities for Haitian students and researchers and discussing the main barriers to Europe-Caribbean academic cooperation and advancing on possible solutions.
During the event, the results of the CaribErasmus project were presented: a study of Caribbean students’ opinion about Higher Education in Europe and a website for searching all available tuition grants to study in Europe. The involved universities’ rectors, administrative staff, international relations officers, academic curriculum and research officers, professors, students and researchers.
